Casino Marbella is located at Andalucia Plaza in the province of Malaga, Spain. It is privately-owned by English businessmen and has an international style to it. The casino is one of the first casinos that opened after the legalization of gambling in Spain and began operating in 1978.
Malaga is an area famous for its Moorish citadels, Alcazaba and Gibralfaro, as well as its Renaissance cathedral nicknamed La Manquita. Other nearby attractions include the Museo Picasso Malaga and Costa del Sol with its sandy beach, water park, and marina.
Almeria International Airport is the main airport in the southern part of the country. At 285 km away from Casino Marbella, it is a considerable distance and will take you approximately 3 hours to drive there. Airport transportation is available in the form of car rental, taxis, and the bus service that has multiple daily journeys from the airport to Malaga and back.
There are no dress code formalities at Casino Marbella, but you will be required to cover up any bathing attire and you must wear closed-toe shoes inside the casino. Entrance is prohibited if you are under the age of 18.

This 12,000 square foot casino is one of the largest casinos in the area and they have over 100 electronic gaming machines along with 30 table games. The casino is inspired by other international casinos and its interior décor includes carpets, neon lights, and high ceilings. The casino is open every day from 12 PM to 4 AM.
The casino has various attractions which include its many services and access to many nearby hotels and resorts. Poker tournaments are the most popular event at the casino and allow gamblers to play for large guaranteed prize pools. Their electronic games are divided amongst slot machines and video poker. Most of these machines are in fact slots, and they have both traditional classic slots and video reel machines available. Restaurants at Casino Marbella
There is a restaurant located inside of Casino Marbella as well as in the hotel.
Casino Marbella Restaurant is a casual option for those wanting to grab a meal while taking a break from gambling. They have an extensive selection of wines, cocktails, and internationally-inspired meals. The restaurant is open every day from 8:30 PM until 2:00 AM.
Cordoba Restaurant is inside the hotel premises and offers both buffet and a la carte dining. It is a medium-sized restaurant that can cater for up to 150 people in their main dining hall and their outside dining area.

PokerStars announced Feb. 7 new 2017 PokerStars Championship and PokerStars Festival stops in Chile, Spain, South Korea, the Philippines and Uruguay.
PokerStars will visit Panama and the Czech Republic in March; South Korea, Macau and Monaco in April; Chile in May; Spain in June and August; the Philippines in July; and Uruguay in September.
This is just the beginning of their announcements; more are expected to be added on in the near future, the company stated in a release.
“We are excited to take our PokerStars Championship and PokerStars Festival across the globe bringing our vision for live poker to a whole new level, ensuring a year filled with far more winning moments than ever before,” said PokerStars’ Director of Live Events Edgar Stuchly in the release.
PokerStars will essentially replace the Latin American Poker Tour Chile, which attracted 565 entries last year, with PokerStars Festival Chile, an eight-day event at the Vina del Mar Hotel & Casino.
Later, in June, PokerStars will head to Casino Marbella for PokerStars Festival Marbella. This event last year was the UK and Ireland Poker Tour Marbella combined with Estrellas and had 844 entries.
PokerStars is also coming out with a first, a PokerStars Festival in Asia, which will be in Incheon, South Korea July 14-24. The PokerStars Festival Korea schedule has not yet been announced, but more information can be found here.
Then, at the location of the former PokerStars LIVE at City of Dreams Manila, PokerStars Festival Manila will kick off July 28 through Aug. 7. PokerStars opened the PokerStars LIVE Manila venue in 2014 and ran its first event there in 2007.
The Asia Pacific Poker Tour in Manila last year brought 577 entries. No doubt PokerStars LIVE Manila will continue to offer its 14 cash game tables and wide range of limits to accommodate traveling players for this new festival. Keep up with this festival here.
